Step 1 Pre-Treat
|
First we individually
identify any spots or stains
that require individual stain treating.
*Again, urine stains are the
most common stain you will
experience. Your customer is being
told that you will try a neutralizer
as part of our "Standard Service".
If this fails, they are told the
Technician will discuss additional
treatments that are available at
additional costs.
|
Step 2 Spray Fine Fabric Shampoo
|
Then we spray the mattress with our Prochem
Fine Fabric Shampoo.
We want
to spray the mattress heavily so, we
get a good lather when we brush our
product into the mattress surface.
.
When spraying always saturate
any heavily soiled areas. The
rule of thumb is: The more
time you spend pre-spraying, the
less time you spend on the handpiece.
Be very detailed with your spraying
and focus on saturating all areas
that appear soiled.
Effective detailed pre-spraying is
essential for maximum results. The
mattress should be sprayed heavily
enough, that a lather effect can be
achieved when brushing is performed.
|
Step 3 Brush the shampoo
aggresively into the mattress.
|
Although a standard horse
hair brush will work. A great tool
to use with our Mattress cleaning
service is a soft drill brush head.
By attaching this to a standard
drill you can powerbrush the
mattress with less effort.
|
This is critical for heavily soiled
areas. What you will notice, is that
the mattress will actually begins to look
clean while you brush the shampoo
into the material.
|
Step 4 Extract the mattress using
your handpiece.
|
The 4th step is we do
is a dry vacuum extraction
using our upholstery
handpiece.
If the mattress is
in extreme condition we can run
Prochem all fiber rinse through the
hanpiece to try to create some
flushing action as we rinse and
extract.
*Never run cleaning products through the
handpiece. This will leave residue
that attracts buildup back
into the mattress.
|
|
If you choose to rinse,we recommend Prochem Fibersoft
Rapid Fiber Rinse for this step.
|
|
Step 5 Stand Mattress up to air
dry.
|
And the final step
of the service is to lift the
mattress and rest it upright
(against the bed if possible) to air
dry.
Be very cautious not to
rest the mattress against anything
that may bleed on to the mattress.
