2016 The year that  "The Show" comes to Boss Optima

2012 World Barista Championship Winner, Raul Rodas

Take a good look at this guy on the left...
His name is Raul Rodas. In 2012 he competed in the  World Barista Championship. Which is basically a world competition to determine the best coffee makers in the world. He won the competition...

He can actually say he is considered the greatest coffee maker in the world. The guy takes an amazing amount of pride in his skill and ability to make coffee......

Like you,  he is very talented and great at what he does....

Like You, he is elite.....
Like You, nobody can question he knows his stuff.

Unfortunately from a financial income standpoint Raul Rodas is  nowhere near this guy........

This guys name is Jerry Baldwin he a former English teacher and he is one of the original founders of Starbucks coffee.  He started the first Starbucks (with 2 partners), and it made money and they were pretty good at what they did. But besides making a pretty good cup of coffee, there was not much "special" about their little business...(Other then they were selling some pretty good coffee and they were profitable). Here is a pic of there original little basic coffee shop...

But even though they had a nice little cofeeshop business ...Jerry Baldwin's life changed dramatically when he met this guy........

This guys name is Howard Schultz . He wandered into Jerry Baldwins little coffee shop and became so in love with their coffee quality, that he wanted to get involved in the business....

And even though he did not found starbucks, he is credited with being the mastermind behind its incredible worldwide success....

Howard Schultz took what was a good little coffee shop and turned it into a worldwide  phenomena.....(And a publicly traded company being sold at over $50 a share)

Howard Schultz believed that the key to blowing up starbucks was to create as many "unique visual and emotional elements" as possible in his coffee shop. He wanted to create an experience where when a customer walked into a starbucks it felt like they were in a different world. A Starbucks world. He believed that the "show business" of his coffee shop was just as important as the coffee..
He wanted the customer to see things they had never seen before. And he wanted to create such a difference between starbucks and all the other coffee shops, that customers would never think to ever compare them to other coffee shops,  because the difference was so vast...He wanted to create a whole new coffee industry....(A new industry with no competitors)

Now here is an important fact:

Raul Rodas  is the best in the world at what he does. (BEST IN THE WORLD!)  ....He knows coffee inside and out. His skills are unquestionable.   But.....

He is not a millionaire..

Howard Schultz was a marketing guy who knew nothing about coffee. He is not considered a great coffee maker. Never competed in the world coffee competition.

He was simply a guy who saw starbucks as "An experiance" not just a coffee shop.  he saw starbucks as a "retailer" not just a coffee shop. And  most importantly....

He had an amazing skill of   "Thinking Like A Customer" .....

He is a multi millionaire...

Why am I telling you this story?
Because we are starting "Phase 2" of our business model.

We are going to do to carpet cleaning what starbucks did  to coffee...Make it interesting and  exciting...And because what I will show you, is that if you "buy into" this idea with me...Your income will skyrocket...And you will see an explosion of growth ....People will begin  "seeking us out"  because of what they here from other customers....Customers will come back with much more frequency annually for other services..

But to do this, I need to convince our partners that right now everything we are doing as a company is like the original little basic starbucks store.

Were good at carpet cleaning, we make money, BUT WE ARE NOT "AN EXPERIANCE".   Were missing the sizzle that makes companies blow up..

I have a term for this...... its called  "THE SHOW"

Lets go back to starbuck for a minute...
Think about it..."Coffee"  There is nothing exciting about coffee.  How did starbucks make coffee exciting? How in the world did they convince people to pay $5 for a cup of coffee and come back for more??

They created a "Memorable Experience". They bombarded their customers with elements they had never seen in a coffee shop before... They made the experience worth $5

They created  "The Show".....

They took the idea of this

And they turned it into this...

 And they exploded in growth......

They innovated things people had never seen before...

They gave their drink sizes ridicoulsly unique names like "Venti"

They invented drinks people had never seen before...

They invented foods nobody had ever tasted before...

They put unique looking sleaves on their cups.....

They put their employees in sleek black shirts and gave their position the name of "barista"......

They put their logo on literally thousands of items in the store....So people were brainwashed into recognizing it, on just one visit....

They designed their stores to be works of art.....(Easy to do when you have millions in the bank)

And they were one of the first to put wi fi in their stores to encourage people to "hang out" and meet there.....

It is estimated that Starbucks innovated over 180 different "elements" that made it unique to the public.....That means if you walked into a starbucks to get a cup of coffee, their would be over 180 things you would experience, that you probably had never experienced in your life before......

That is how they are able to charge $5 for a cup of coffee....

And why they blew up into one of the most successfull businesses in the world....

They took something very blah and boring and made it interesting and exciting....

Howard Schultz saw all of this in his mind after visiting a simple little coffee shop.... Jerry baldwin (the founder)was just selling some good coffee...Howard schultz  saw that if they could combine this with  "the show"  they could blow up....and they did..
.

Here is what I see in my mind.........

Boss Optima already has some of the most sophisticated sales systems the world of carpet cleaning has ever seen.....We are world class at attracting customers...And more importantly, we know how to get top dollar for our service without bait and switch.

We have a TV commercial that is almost ready to begin airing in Phoenix. This commercial will make us a household name in that market. But we can not air it, until the Phoenix market has "The Show" installed into our operation. This is what I have mandated.
The local partner Will Ahl is dilegently working with me to achieve this.

After we are ready,  we will start airing the commercial and then we will begin flying in our partners to see what we mean by "The Show"....So you can see it firsthand.

What is the "The Show"?

The Show is the exact same thing Starbucks did to coffee...
We are going to show you how we made carpet cleaning intriguing and exciting....Were going to show you things you have never seen before....

And one by one, we are going to implement "The Show" into your market and begin airing the tv commercial to follow it....

We are going to do the same thing to our service department that we did with the sales department.  Make it cutting edge.

We are going to create a memorable experience for the customer....

But we need your cooperation.....

And we need you to change your mindset.....

We need you to stop thinking that just "trading" good carpet cleaning for money is going to equal big success.....

2012 World Barista Championship Winner, Raul Rodas  Just like Mr Raul Rodas, as great as you are....We need you to realize that in this industry your amazing cleaning skills and expertise guarantee you absolutely no real success..If it did, you would have been wealthy a long time ago, before you met us.
Our industry is filled with guys who are amazingly great technicians...

Anybody who has visited our headquarters will tell you (just like Starbucks) we have hundreds of elements never seen before in a carpet cleaning sales department...The public "feels this" when we interact with them...that's why we have grown so fast... Our challange has been figuring out how to quickly train our new salespeople in the complex science of how we do this.. We think we have finally achieved this...(mostly through software we have designed)....We have trimmed our 3 month training program to 30 days... (next time you talk to a sales person, ask them how "complex" the system they had to learn to work here is)  You might be amazed at what they tell you...(All just to think like a customer)

To become a millionaire, you need to have an extremely memorable service department....You need to have "The Show" combined with your great cleaning skills.  We have spent the last 2 years trying to show you that we know what we are doing..Now its time to go to the next level...

Our organization is strong... we have some of the best techs in the nation. If we combine that with an amazing memorable service...A service with many elements the public has never seen before...We could be the next Starbucks!!  And you will feel what its like to really excell.  I am ready to invest in you to a whole different level.....But I need you on board with this idea. The idea that
the show  is just as important as everything else you know about carpet cleaning.....  We will show you this in Phoenix soon..   My respected partners, I say this humbly.......Were going to wow you!....(I ask each partner to please text me the phrase  "I read it"  after you read this so I may contact you to discuss further details).
Thank You.

Mike Ochoa.
